FAQ

Why Are Some Tricks Free, But Others I Have To Pay For?

The majority of tricks on this site ARE free. But there are currently 7 tricks that are NOT free (see below).

Why is that? Well, think of it like watching TV. You can watch TV for free all you want (unless you're paying for something like cable or satellite programming). But every 10 minutes or so, they show you a commercial.

No one is forcing you to run out and buy anything. Relax it's just a commercial. Change the channel if you want.

Same thing here. No one is forcing you to buy anything. Just skip the commercial and go to another free trick.

Can You Teach Me Solid Breath?

No. The only way to get Solid Breath is to buy it at http://www.SolidBreath.com.

In fact, none of the following tricks are taught for free on this site (it is also illegal for the explanations of the following tricks to be on any other site):

  • Solid Breath
  • Free-Floating Card
  • Nutty!
  • Solstice
  • Numismatic
  • Symbiotic
  • Squish (by Nathan Kranzo)

If you don't want to buy the above tricks, that's fine. You don't have to. But please be grateful for the free tricks that ARE on this site. Selling the above tricks pays for the rest of this site and keeps it all free.

So please don't ask me or anyone else to teach you any of the above tricks for free. If you pester me or anyone else at TheMagicTeacher.com, your name will be immediately removed from our new trick notification lists and your IP will be blocked. You won't be able to access this site or learn any tricks from this site.

How About A Trade?

No, I won't trade with you either. I'm happy to pay the inventor for any magic trick that I want to learn.

If someone is clever enough to come out with a trick that fools me AND interests me enough, then he or she DESERVES my money. No question about it.

How Do I Make Sure That The Tricks I Submit To This Site Get Approved?

I personally review every single trick submitted to TheMagicTeacher.com - Some tricks I approve, some tricks I disapprove.

The more tricks I approve, the more money you will make.

Here are a few tips to help your tricks get approved and listed faster:

1. Use good spelling and grammar!

This is a big one for me. I HATE correcting spelling mistakes. Also, please use correct spacing. And NO INTERNET SLANG!

BAD EXAMPLE:
"this id not good.i wud not accpt this...lol"

Articles that look like the above example get disapproved immediately.

GOOD EXAMPLE:
"This is much better. I would accept this."

See the difference?

2. No copyright protected tricks!

I don't want you teaching "Sinful", "Indecent", "Warning", "KAOS", or any other trick that is currently being sold by its creator.

Only tricks that you've created yourself or that are considered "Public Domain" are okay to teach on this site.

Either way, all content you submit MUST BE CREATED BY YOU! No copying and pasting whatsoever will be tolerated. Do it just once and ALL your articles will be deleted. Seriously. There is ZERO tolerance for any form of plagiarism here at TheMagicTeacher.com.

3. Make it easy to understand!

Explain EVERYTHING! Give detailed, step-by-step instructions. Provide pictures and video whenever possible.

4. Use proper spacing!

Put a space after periods and commas. Put a space in-between words. Some of the submissions I get, I would think the spacebar on your keyboard was broken!

5. Write many small paragraphs instead of one big one!

If your explanation is particularly long, then break it up into small paragraphs. Just look at this page entry. See all the spacing???

If this were all one paragraph it would be MUCH more difficult to read.

6. Regarding Video:

The video MUST be of YOU. Do not post anybody else's video as your own.

Also, please embed the video into your article and write a detailed description of the video.

Don't just put a link to YouTube.
