Signature Vanish Attempt

You attempt to do a signature vanish and instead of making the signature vanish, you turn the coin black... a good joke!!

Floating coin

A cool coin trick where a coin floats.

Coin mentalism

A hat or bag containing ten pennies ( quarters will do, just as well ) is passed to the audience. They are asked to examine the coins to confirm that the coins have different dates. A member of the audience is asked to choose a coin at random and pass this around for the other members to see. The coin is then placed back in the hat with the other coins and the hat is then presented to the magician. Eyes closed and appearing to be concentrating deeply, the magician puts his hand in the hat and retrieves the chosen coin.

transport

number of borrowed coins are dropped, audibly, into a tumbler on the table; the tumbler is then covered with a borrowed handkerchief and placed on one side of the room. Another empty tumbler, covered in a similar way with a second borrowed handkerchief, is now placed on the opposite side of the room. These arrangements made, the coins are commanded to pass from the one tumbler to the other, the command being instantly obeyed. Finally the handkerchiefs are removed and the transposition seen to have actually taken place. The secret lies in the use of a Third tumbler placed in readiness on the servante, immediately behind the one on the table, into which the coins are actually dropped. When about to commence the trick, the performer makes the pass known as the "Tourniquet" (from the right hand), (see "[[a]]../stanyon1/001.htm[[aa]]Conjuring For Amateurs[[/a]]"), and when seeming to drop the coins from the left hand into tumbler on table, he really drops them from the right hand into the one on the servante. This Sleight forms a complete illusion. Immediately after the coins strike the hidden tumbler, the performer picks up the one from the table, grasping it, for obvious reasons, near the base, and covers it with a handkerchief. When covering the second tumbler (the one supposed to be empty) the performer, under cover of the handkerchief, adroitly changes it for that on the servante, and which, it will be understood, contains the coins. The conclusion of the trick now depends entirely on the dramatic element, and will be better, or worse, according to the ability of the artiste in this direction. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coin Through Table

Effect: You Put your hand over a coin and then you pull it from under the table.

How to do it: I do it a way that you can have someone sign it and you only need one coin.

You ask someone for a coin, you place it on the table and put 3 fingers in front of the coin (So the person watching can not see it) and while talking to them flick the coin into your lap. Then cover the coin with your hand and reach under the table and pull the coin out from under the table.
