Home Made Magician's Wax

Hi, I'm Christopher Jackson. I've come here to show you a few magic tricks that I've invented and write a blog or two helping you guys become better magicians. My favorite ttype of magic is Coin and Gimmick realated. I invent my own gimmicks to make advanced tricks usable for everyone and I enjoy helping other magicians. I am a firm believer in the Magician's Oath. Now...lets start the show.
Thats right, I'm found a way to create (in great amounts) home made magician's wax! I just could not keep this to myself, so I decided to share the secret with you all!
Here are the steps to creating home made, store quality magician's wax.
Needed
-Several glue sticks (will save you ton's of time if you have some old ones kicking around your house)
Steps Involved
-Take the glue stick and unscrew it until the entire sticky rod of glue is outside of the case.
-Take a knife and cut the stick into think little disks.
-Lay the disks out on a sheet of white paper to dry for...1 week!!!(see? told you old sticks could save you some time, if the stick is old only let it sit for about 3 days)
-After the before mentioned time is up go to one of the disks and cut out the amount of wax you need from it using a knife.
-Roll the old glue between your fingers for about 5 minutes, after this you have some very useful magician's wax that will do as well (if not better) then store brand magician's wax.
TIPS:
-keep lots of wax in your room/home so you can get a little piece for whenever you leave the house.
-Some brands of glue may take longer to dryout then others. Keep that in mind and feel free to mess around with the time until you get the desired effect.

Well, I see how this works, and is a great idea. But, what if you need more then just one disk. Would you be able to put two disks together, and then rub them together so they make one long strand of wax. Will that still work?

As for your questions...
1. I don't know about making a long strand of wax. This is better for attacking invisable thread to stuff like dice and cards and such.
2. Purple glue should be find if your attacking it onto purple/dark things. Stay away from white though.

even better "homemade" magicians wax is orthodontic wax. i used to have braces and every time i went to the orthodontist i would grab an extra case or two for this specific reason
