Your Persona

Hi, I'm Christopher Jackson. I've come here to show you a few magic tricks that I've invented and write a blog or two helping you guys become better magicians. My favorite ttype of magic is Coin and Gimmick realated. I invent my own gimmicks to make advanced tricks usable for everyone and I enjoy helping other magicians. I am a firm believer in the Magician's Oath. Now...lets start the show.
No, I'm not trying to sell you a new phone package. In the magic community a "Persona" is the person you play while doing magic. A persona is used mainly because the magician him/herslef is just too boring for the show.
Some example of popular personas are...
-Indian swami
-Oriental magician
-Clown
-Wizard
-Mad professor
-Swav gentelmen
-Psychic
There are many different types to choose from. Your Persona should be natural to you, you should be able to Turn it on in a second. In addition you should have your props match your persona (A indian Swami might do more rope magic for example).
But like in all forms of magic you should remember the main thing is to entertain people, make sure your Persona is interesting.
P.S-
Remember, personas are mostly used by people who don't have a good natural perosnality for stage magic or people who are nervous about preforming. If your already a funny/cool person you should be okay without one.

My persona is myself....
....Or a confused person who can't figure out why both people always pick the same card and mess up the trick....
My record is 5 times picking the same card before the person got suspicious :D.
