When I flub a trick...

Hi ! I am Sze To Ho Wai. I have played magic for 4 years. My favourite magician is Derren Brown. I love mentalism.
Well, if you rehearse a trick properly, this will happen rarely. But if it DOES happen, you could say something like this:
1. It is the part of the show......the part of the show that hasn't been rehearsed.
2. That's the first time it happened......again.
3. That's magic, it is unreliable, sometimes it fails...
4. That would have been cool if it worked, huh?
5. (For kids...) It didn't work because I forgot to say the magic words! Can you say the magic words with me? (Try the trick again...)

That's pretty helpful. I've just started back up again with magic and illusions. I used to sort of do magic as a kid but then, I didn't believe I could do it well, however I've always had an interest. Recently I was talking to one of my friends who was a magician who got me started again, telling me where to look for books, what books to look for, what makes good presentations and stuff, and of course he told me to practice the act as many times as possible. I've been building up my "arsenal" of tricks and these 5 suggestions to "save you and your trick" will be very helpful. Thank you.
