Im not sure if it is only me that has noticed this or not, but magic is no longer just trying to be entertaining. like in the cases of these major street magicians its no longer believable tricks they are doing, while the wonder of it all is still there the believability is almost gone now. Another thng is the extreme level street magic is being taken, stage magic effects are harder to find now, because most of these inventors are focusing on tricks you can do on the streets. I say that magic, although good in its many forms should be put more on the stage and less on the street, because no longer when people think magician do they normally think Houdini or another incredible stage magician. They think Criss Angel and David Blain, the only two magicians of this age to make it poplar, yet through there example magics roots are being lost. Anyways I think that if magic is to survive as a wonderful art that the tricks need to become more classy not more impossible, and that camera tricks should be completely eliminated in magic.
