Ok, for many magicians, (that practice that is) errors happen seldom.

But, if you ever make an error, try to improv a joke,

Like, Say you do a card trick (mindreading one specifically) Ok, you get the card wrong on the guess, and you have to make the most (MOST!!!) of the mistake. You can say, "Well, My mind's a bit weak right now... We'll try later" and try to make it funny, like... Ask for any other magicians, see if they can do it (usually it would be a no so don't worry...)
 
And forcing a card, if you force the wrong card, make the most of it and start over. Say, "gosh I'm always getting that card from a spectator pick a different one, for corn's sake"

Coming from a mistake isn't really easy, but knowing to conteract it would help a ton, a mistake happens seldom if you just practice alot.

Just try to avoid it and do your best to come up from it
