Why did you start doing magic?

I've been working on my magic for about a year. I'm working on writing a book on magic right now.
Most people who have a hobby don't do it to be popular, they have it because it's what they enjoy doing. Why did you start doing magic? I'm not very sure how I started but I think one of my friends got me into it. I enjoy it a lot and I amaze people, after one year of doing it.

hmm alot of people ask the same question alot but i would have to say its the fact that it makes me different and gets a little bit of attention so that i can see those reaction ;).

I started bcz I was inspired by my great uncle, My mom showed me some old black and white videos of him doing magic and it was awesome! I think his magic is in my blood now...
