I'm now an advanced magician, making my own tricks, and also, Doing my own shows, It took a whole lot of work to get to where I am now, I am very fond of my magic and practice a bunch in my spare time. I like this trick verry much, but I can defy it. it is layed out like so
1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9
10 11 12
The cards I can pick from that will defy this trick are 2,5,6(if gone down,right, forced down, then right or first up),10, or 12
Other than the fault of these cards, I really enjoy this trick
