You tear a paper into shreds and then you restore with your magic wand

The Effect
You show the audience a peice of paper. You tear it, and wrinkle the shreds together. You look for your magic wand and say "By the powers of magic, shreds, I dare say you bond back together!" Then, you tap the paper unfold it and say, "What do you know, they followed my commands!!"

The Materials and Trick
The Materials:
2 peices of paper
A wand or Magic Dust

The Trick:
Take the 2nd peice of paper and crumple it up into a ball, and palm it, (helps to have big hands) Now, you are set up, take the 1st peice of paper and, show the audience, Tear it up into shreds, Crumple it into a ball, and then put it in hand that has the other peice of paper in it, say, "ok, I had a magic wand (or magic dust, which ever you're using)" and then, while you look for it, switch the 2 papers out, and pull your wand/dust out. (This is called misdirection) Now, take the 2nd peice of paper, and unfold it, it shouldn't be torn, and now you have your audience wondering how you did it, unles they didn't get the misdirection...
