You write down a prediction on a peace of paper. You hold up an article of a newspaper, you move scissors up and down the article. Ask the person so say stop when ever they want. When they say stop you cut the article. You pick up the peace that landed on the ground. Ask the person watching to read the article and then read the prediction. (They can be holding your prediction for the entire demonstration).

How to do Newspaper Prediction

Prepare:
*you need to cut out a strip of an article of the newspaper.
*You need scissors.
*The article that you cut out. Write the first sentence on a peace of paper and put it in a envelop.
Performing:
You have got the article already. You go up to some one give them an envelop, tell them "I’ve got a prediction in there that I want you to read out latter." You bring out the newspaper article, but the trick is that you hold it upside down (But only you know it, Do not let anyone see the words upside down, Stand far away from them but not to far). You say "I'm going to run scissors up and down this article, when you want me to cut the article say STOP."
Then you run the scissors up and down the article when they say "stop." cut the article. Remember the article is upside down, when you cut the article pick up the peace that landed on the floor. Ask the person that you gave the envelop to, to pick the peace that landed on the floor up and read the first sentence. After that read my prediction.
They will be a match.
