Card Levitation
Things you'll need: A matchstick and tape (any tape works but it has to be sticky!)
Preparation: First, put some tape on one end of the matchstick. The sticky side should be on the top. Like the sticky side should be able to stick the card. Fix the tape from the sides so it doesn't come off when you pull it down between your fingers(that's part of the trick).
Method: Take a card or tell the spectator to choose one. Then put the card on your palm but it should cover the bottom parts of all your fingers. Also use misdirection to move the spectators eyes away from your hand. Meanwhile ,slide in the matchstick with your other hand between the two middle fingers that the tape on top sticks with the card. Try to move your fingers as little as possible so no one can notice what you are doing under the card. After wards tell the spectator to concentrate on the card. Then you slowly with your free hand push the matchstick up with any one finger. Try to move your hand as little as possible! As the card floats the spectator mostly moves back. If this happens move your hand a little vertically but never move your hand up side down. As the card is stuck with tape it never comes off. Don't show the levitation to long but finish quickly. When you finish pull the matchstick out of your fingers quickly that the card almost seems to fall on your hand. Put the match stick in your pocket or keep it in your closed hands(try that the spectator does . You can even show the card to the spectator to prove that there is nothing with it and then walk away.
This tricks needs a lot of practice but works every time! Great effect!
Note:Pratctice in front of a mirror!!
