REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2 quarters, ungimmicked
  • 1 half-dollar, ungimmicked and can be borrowed
  • 1 butter knife, ungimmicked and can be borrowed
PREPARATION:
  1. Prepare for this trick by back-clipping a quarter between the first and second fingers of your left hand. Also, back-clip ANOTHER quarter between the second and third fingers of your left hand. If you open your hand and tilt it slightly forward, no one will see the quarters at all.
  2. Next, place the half-dollar on your fingertips. This should hide any visible portion of the quarters that may have been sticking through your fingers.
  3. Hold the butter knife in your right hand
METHOD:
  • Perform David Williamson's "Strike Vanish" and secretly catch the half-dollar in your right hand.
  • At the same time, drop both quarters from back-clip position onto the table to complete the startling effect.
